Owakanda Surf Location is a secret point on the local surf map located on the side of Galle road in the area of Rathgama. This is a good place to go if Hikkaduwa is too crowded. Only a couple of localities surf the spot so on a perfect day during the season, you’re sure to catch some nice waves with peace. There are three points in Owakanda next to each other. The main point in the middle (the longest ride), the reef break on the left (which is the better consistent break) or the baby point to the left (good for beginners).
